SURFER HELMETS!!!!!!

I've been kicking it the last week or so trying to fill orders, Hand paint Rat Finks on helmets & bowling pins while building up some inventory to bring to the "Rat Fink Reunion" in Manti Utah the first weekend of June! These are all going to Ed Roth's house with me but if you want a cool metal flake Surfer Helmet or a raw fiberglass one you can paint yourself or even one of my half bowling pins to hang on the wall they will all be on my website store after i get back from the Reunion. in the mean time "Get out in the garage and build Something" -FRITZ-------------------------

Rat Fink Reunion 2016

Its Official. I'll be at the "Rat Fink Reunion" this year with the "Baja Bandeeto" Thats right Kids, the first weekend of June In Manti UT. the gathering of the Faithful, the lovers of the Rat and friends of Ed "Big Daddy" Roth! lots of cool cars artists and the smell of One Shot in the air. Poncho Bill's Starchief update #5

I got distracted by doing other stuff in the shop, I've been making a new DVD on how to repair busted motorcycle frames and such, doing car shows and just shop life in general. I have been working On Bill's 1957 Pontiac and here are some updates! I got the drivers side floor pan and frame support brace all made and welded in, its all pretty much the same song as the passenger side only played backwards for the secret message (for you younger kids, Us old farts used to play LP records form the likes of Pink Floyed & the Beatles and if you played them backwards you could hear a hidden message! or the devils voice all depends on your point of view or chemicals in your body) The big challenge as of late is restoring the trunk tail pan area, We got a '57 chevy gas tank with the fuel pump inside for EFI motors and decided it was a good idea to change out the trunk floor pan also as the original one had rust, rot, and cracking issues. In order to really get at the tail pan area I cut the trunk extension off the car to revel the ugly work of moisture and age in a tight steel area. I bought '57 chevy tail pan pieces and a cross support brace but they are way to different to use so as I type this my Friend Dean at Gieske steel here in Kansas City is bending up a new thicker cross brace for me. My low buck angle iron metal brake wasn't gonna do a great job of it so I took it to Dean to do the right thing. I'm supposed to pick it up later today so until then, "Get out in the garage and build something!" -FRITZ-

Fun with Bowling Pins!

So I put another bright idea into motion, I cut a fairly nice bowling pin in half, made a mold off of it and have been making metal flake bowling pin half's that can be painted up with Slobbering Monsters or pinstriped in any Von Dutch style you can think of! they'll be in my web site store along with the "surfer Helmets" in a few weeks so you guy's can Jazz up yer garages! These are selling like cold root beer floats in Kansas on a July Day!!!! I'm in the process of making more "SuRfEr HeLmEtS" to fill orders and to take to the next car show. so if you want one let me know and I will make it with this batch!!!!!! probably best to e-mail me at spritzbyfritz@aol.com you can get 'em in raw fiberglass and finish them yourself, or a metal flake gel coat. and if yer willing to wait a bit I can slap a slobbering monster on one fed ya! get out in the garage and build something! -FRITZ-
