1926-1927 Ford Model T Coupe Body
Back In the late 80's and early 90"s I had a bunch of old cars, My Fav's were a 1932 Chevy woody wagon with IFS and a small block chevy v-8 and a chopped & Channeled 1930 Ford coupe with a flathead ford, this is way before the internet and the HAMB. Yah I was so cool i was frozen! well this little 27 Ford T coupe body just kinda fell in my lap. Long story short I traded a 1970's Harley motorcycle 4 speed transmission for it. one of the many reasons i love living in the mid west, all this neat stuff is just laying around!!!! I have no idea when I'll get to it, but its in the stable of dreams for now, Get Out In The Garage and Build Something!!!!!! FRITZ

Bill's Pontiac Starchief update #6
I had to go way back about 9 months to see where I left off on this, Its been to long for an update. as it is all not fresh in my mind anymore I'm going to just wing it. the rear body cross brace on Bill's car was totally rotted and shot, and 'cause of this the main trunk floor would flex from stuff being in there and got stress cracks here and there. we wanted to install a new gas tank that had a late model fuel injection pump in it and the closet one we could get was a 1957 Chevy for the 1957 Pontiac. so my bright idea was to replace the center of the trunk floor with a Chevy panel so the gas tank would line up with the "notches" in the trunk floor, anyone that has done a gas tank on these vintage cars knows what Im talking about. I had to replace the rear cross brace body bushings and have a sheet metal shop bend up a top & bottom rear cross brace as my metal brake wasn't wide enough or deep enough to do the job and it was some good thick stuff and a bit hard for me to bend. from here on out I'll let the photos do the story telling I'm sure you'll get the idea. I am a lot further along then this so in the coming weeks I'll try to get everyone up to speed.

Beatnik Bandit Update!!!
So as many of you know my friend "Zim" and I have what we call "Fun with Fritz Fridays" where we work on the bandit and get BBQ for lunch! this past Friday was no different, after looking over photos I took of the real car and measurements I took off the real car and comparing them to my clone we decided that some plaster needed to come off the top of the rear body. I actually used an old axe to shave off the still damp plaster that had been on there for months! I also put some sheet rock screws along the wood ring i made for the tail light panel to help hold the plaster in place as last time I put plaster on the plywood ring it didn't hold so good and was on the garage floor the next morning. all in all on this last day of the year I think the ass end is shaping up quite nicely. it pays to do squares i guess ;)
make the new years resolution to spent more time in the garage being creative and less time on face book, your phone and in front of the TV, brig the kids in the garage and build a go-kart or a hoped up valve cover for the car show valve cover races, just "Get out in the garage and build something" _FRITZ
